Biography

Dr. Bobby Buka, New York City’s leading dermatologist, offers a wealth of dermatologic experience in both cosmetic and medical treatments. Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Buka is passionate about the skin health and skin care of New Yorkers. With his unique approach to dermatology treatment in New York City, Dr. Buka not only aims to diagnose and prescribe the most common skin issues–from acne to psoriasis–but places a unique emphasis on education and building a relationship with each of his patients. A graduate of the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Dr. Buka was initially drawn to the breadth of care offered in the field of dermatology: from acne, to botox, to skin cancer treatments, dermatology is an expansive practice with a range of unique services. On the forefront of dermatological medicine, Dr. Buka enjoys both the simple, everyday aspects of dermatological practice and more critical elements of the job. After graduating, Bobby Buka completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Buka completed his residency at the University of California, San Diego and a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Children’s Hospital San Diego. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Bobby Buka opened his dermatology practice, Bobby Buka MD, in June of 2007. Since, he has opened offices in seven different locations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island City.
